Kenneth Hughes
This clip is an excerpt from actor/dancer/director Kenneth Hughes' first film “Blue Eyes”, a moving 30-minute documentary about his homeless mother.
The film was produced using a home VHS analog video camcorder and then edited at EZTV on a primitive deck to a deck 'cuts only' edit system.
Though deteriorated by the passage of time, the power of DIY video can still be seen and felt here, despite its glitches. The project is expected to be restored and re-edited using modern digital technology in the near future.
