As a way of building a dialogue as well as awareness of ACM SIGGRAPH’s role in the LA arts community, this series of annual events will in turn focus on new work by current digital artists as well as retrospective recollections and re-presentations of classic work, in collaboration with the EZTV Online Museum.

In 2024, for the Fourth of Four Annual Artshows we will elaborate with highlights from the previous 40 years. The recent increased awareness and appreciation of Digital Art in both the wider panorama of contemporary art, as well as both in the mainstream press and social media, has suggested a need to revisit the groundbreaking and often visionary history of the computer-based arts.

Both the artists and the local organizations that have championed what is likely the greatest cultural advancement since the printing press; and along with their collaborative scientific partners; have paved the way for the world we now take for granted. And through revisiting these past milestones, it provides us with a context to help us better understand the further innovations just on the horizon.

Over the decades, both international SIGGRAPH and Los Angeles SIGGRAPH have presented, and/or collaborated with a number of artists and arts organizations, including multiple times with EZTV Media, and its CyberSpace Gallery.
